Extreme Unrest At Paluweh Volcano, Indonesia as Powerful Earthquakes Continuously Rock the Island - 25th February 2013

I have just returned from an expedition to Paluweh volcano in the Flores region of Indonesia. The island volcano is currently in an extreme state of unrest with strong volcanic quakes rocking the mountain on average every 15 minutes. The team and myself climbed to within 200m of the active lava dome and managed to shoot extremely rare footage of the earthquakes causing disintigration of the lava dome and massive rock falls.

Expedition Vanuatu! September 2010

Video from the edge of hell!

Video of extreme abseiling near the lava lake at Marum volcano, Ambrym island, Vanuatu

I've just returned from a major expedition to Vanuatu with Geoff Mackley where we attempted a descent into the active crater of Marum volcano on Ambrym island, home to one of only 5 active lava lakes in the world. Accompanying us were climbing experts Drew Bristow and Johno Smith and working the cameras were Dan Lacy and Bradley Ambrose. An amazing trip and a big thank you to the whole team for making it happen!
